St. Andrews Biodiversity Garden reflects the desire of the congregation to see God's Creation flourish in an urban setting. And so, we decided to dedicate a small space at the front of the church to reflect the native grass and flower species of Treaty 6 Territory of Central Alberta. Please stop and take a look, smell and see the beauty of our natural prairie landscapes, right in the heart of Camrose!
On June 8th, 2019, many people from St. Andrew's and the Camrose community gathered to watch master chainsaw carver Kelly (Power Carver) work his magic on one of the 70+ year old trees in front of the church. Kelly showed incredible craftsmanship and commitment to the 12+ hour process to make this vision a reality.
