Services of the Anglican Mission in Camrose began in October 1906, with Reverend A. P. Carter. Services were held in the homes of parishioners or in the Presbyterian church until a church was built. In September 1909 the first service was held in the new church building, which was located on the same site as the current church.
The Mission became a Parish on St. Andrew's Day 1910. To commemorate the date, the parishioners decided to name the building St. Andrew's Church.
St. Andrew’s was a member of the Calgary diocese until the establishment of the Diocese of Edmonton in 1913. The current church building was dedicated in 1946. Renovations and a major addition were done 1958, to add the nave, a hall, kitchen and several meeting rooms, including Sunday School classrooms.
